We may have one chance to save ourselves and perhaps our country, and that is to secure a sizable win for like thinking Democrats and Republicans in both the house and senate in 2026. To do that, a central theme must be embraced to circle the wagons around. Restoring the Middle Class would mimic a golden era of the 50's and 60's. It must be strong, it is the backbone of the nation. If we are to retain our, We the Peoples', self determination then we must join together now, Left and Right. Let's hold our social agenda's fight where it is and concentrate on fighting the corporate swamp in DC. The current wealth spread is immoral.

Capitalism has been so distorted in our government that cutting health benefits for the most vulnerable is a viable solution before loop holes in corporate laws, or before raising taxes on the rich. The threat that the rich would simply leave, makes it sound like they contribute anything to the social wellbeing anyway. Let someone else take care of them. We must have legislators in place to first, cut the loop holes for corporations and the wealthy. Next raise taxes on the wealthy; twenty-five percent up to 100 million dollars and 3 percent over that amount. Sounds reasonable to me, especially in light of the fact wages have been stagnant for many years. And third, the holy grail, eliminate the C-corporation in favor of B-corporations. Imagine a world where a corporate law dictates social benefit over profit.

But what about socialism? We live in a social hive. Of course we all need to contribute, to the best of our abilities, to our shared needs of health, wealth and safety. Capitalist is what we are, but it's not all we are. We are a good, compassionate, vibrant people. Given the ability, we take care of each other, but we must we must be healthy ourselves. Socialism is a scare tactic. That is not to say we don't have social programs that aren't working, but they can be reworked with public coffers filled from a more equitable distribution of corporate, wealthy, and well paid workers, taxes.

We are headed, as we all know, for an inevitable financial cliff as a country very soon. Yes, something has to be done, and is being done by Trump and his gang of Billionaires but it will have a negative impact on the payoff of any debt. The administration is simply trading tax cuts for the rich for the wellbeing of the struggling. We have one chance to to free ourselves from the oligarchs, that is working together and voting them out in 2026! Let's replace them with representatives who represent us and will fight for the common man.

We can do this, working together, Free America from the billionaires. Establishing a strong Middle Class now, before AI and robotics dominate the workspace, is the only way we can avoid obsolescence. Vote yes to We the People. Prepare for 2026 now. Tell your local politicians what you want, what you expect, that they should be single issue representatives until the national debt is gone.
